About Skyline at Lakeside

Since launching in 1954 as Skyline Wesleyan Methodist Church, we have grown from a small building on Skyline Drive in Lemon Grove to a 2,000-seat auditorium in Rancho San Diego, along with our Lakeside Campus.

Our Lakeside campus carries its own rich history as the former home of Lakeside Wesleyan Church. Pastor Jeremy McGarity later led Seven Church to this site, and in 2018, Seven SD merged with Skyline when Pastor Jeremy became Lead Pastor. That merger gave birth to what is now Skyline Lakeside Campus.

Because of this legacy, Skyline is a place where community runs deep, and generations have devoted themselves to reaching people for Christ. It has taken many faithful men and women committed to this mission to build Skyline Church into what it is today. We’d love for you to join us as we help people find and follow Jesus — seven days a week.

What to Expect

We are so glad that you are thinking of joining us – welcome home! Our Sunday Worship Experiences are at 8:30 am, 10 am & 11:30 am, in-person & online! We also offer a midweek worship experience, Thursdays at 6:30pm. We will spend the first 20 minutes singing a range of traditional and modern songs, and then hear a 40-minute message that is designed to be implemented throughout your week.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
When you come to Skyline Church, there is no specific dress code. We just want you to come as you are! When you get to campus, you will see that some people love to dress up and others come casual.

Does Skyline Church pass around a Giving Basket?

If it is your first time at Skyline Church, please do not feel obligated to give. We do not pass around a basket and ask for donations. We’d rather you give with a joyful heart as you feel led than to give out of obligation or begrudgingly. For those who are looking to make Skyline Church their home, we believe that you cannot outgive God and this act of worship is something for you to pray about.
Online giving is quick, convenient, and secure through our Skyline Church App, online at SkylineChurch.org/give, OR, you can put your tithes and offering in the Giving Box as you exit service.

Skyline Kids

We love our Skyline kids, and we believe that all kids should be able to experience God in an age-appropriate way. Each Sunday, we have games, crafts, and bible stories geared toward helping our babies through 5th grade learn about who God is. Join us on Sundays at 8:30 am, 10 am and 11:30 am. (Check-in starts 15 minutes before all 3 services!)

Our Youth Ministry meets on Sunday mornings at 11:30 am and every Tuesday Night for games, worship, time with friends, and a practical message they can apply to their daily walk with God. These students have a place to belong as they learn what it means to find and follow Jesus seven days a week!
