Skyline Church is a dynamic, growing fellowship located in the Rancho San Diego area of East San Diego County. We offer a variety of ministries to meet the needs of the entire family! We invite you to worship with us and consider making Skyline your church home.

Dr. Orval Butcher was the founding pastor of the church and served for 27 years. Skyline has come a long way from the 350 seat auditorium we first met in almost 50 years ago.
In 1995, Dr. Maxwell felt led by God to pursue his national ministry, Injoy, which provides leadership tools and materials to pastors and lay leaders. Dr. Jim Garlow left a thriving church in Dallas and became Skyline’s third pastor in October, 1995.

On Palm Sunday, 2000, Skyline’s 19 year dream of relocating to the mountain came true. The amazing people of Skyline did not waver from their commitment to reach the East County.
The Skyline campus site plan calls for multiple buildings. These include the Family Center, where worship services are currently held.  Skyline will soon break ground on a worship center. With God’s help and the faithfulness of His people, Skyline will continue to meet the needs of our community.
