Membership
Membership Dinner is the first step in our Core Four plan. This is a basic introduction to the Skyline Family. In this class, you’ll have dinner (on us!), fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ, and learn about Skyline’s mission, vision, and values; You’ll learn why this church is here and how we go about our particular mission.

Core Two: Christian Habits
For those of you who have completed Core One: Membership Dinner, you’ll have an opportunity to learn more about developing Christian habits! (Note: This class is only available to those who have completed Core One: Membership Dinner.) In this class, the foundational habits of being a Christian are taught. You will learn the foundational Christian habits of having a regular devotional time, how to develop the habit of prayer, giving, and the importance of practicing the habit of fellowship. Learn about these Christian habits and how to incorporate them into your daily and weekly life.
Core Three: Spiritual Gifts & Abilities
Many Christians go through life not knowing that God has gifted them for a specific purpose, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 (NIV).
In this course, you will understand the spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities you have been given by God for His purpose and you will learn how to use them in your life, in the church, and beyond.
Core Four: Oikos - Life Mission
In this course, you will realize that you are not responsible for changing the world. However, God does want you to make a difference in your world. What is your world? God has supernaturally and strategically placed 8 to 15 people in your life (your world) for the purpose of helping them understand his love and grace and his desire for a relationship with them. The great news is he has chosen you to reach them!
You will gain a thorough understanding of the New Testament Oikos (pronounced oy koss) concept and how your mission flows out of your everyday life.

We offer additional courses such as Shark Weak, Doctrine, and Apologetics. Below is what we will learn in each of these courses.
Shark Weak: We will go through Pastor Jeremy McGarity’s book, “Overcoming Weaknesses That Bite.” Every Christian faces the sharks of life. They are swimming around us, waiting to bite. Being a believer does not exempt us from trials, tribulations, and troubles. However, we have been given the tools to fight back. Although we may be bitten from time to time, we don’t have to be devoured. Learn the tools to overcome these weaknesses!
Doctrine: The importance of essential Christian doctrine cannot be overstated. These are the very doctrines that distinguish Christianity from the many cults that exist. The purpose is to understand what you believe and why you believe what you believe.
Apologetics: In this course, you will learn the basic defenses of the Christian faith. While you’ve learned the key Christian Doctrines in Core Doctrine, this class will give you some of the tools to help you defend those doctrines.
