Throughout his many years of pastoring, Skip has demonstrated a passion for helping young people move from "maintenance and survival mode" to finding their passions, purposes, visions and directions, allowing them to experience new spiritual adventures. His "one-on-one" motivation sessions are electric, as he pursues the elimination of fear to release the self-worth we are meant to enjoy as our Lord's grace unfolds within.

Skip became a pastor later in life after a successful technical career in mechanical engineering and business. He first served in a corporate structure, then as an entrepreneur. He, his wife Sally and three children: Lisa, Timothy and Lynda were all very active in the church and all three children are married and raising Christian families.

It was after retiring two times that Skip experienced the call into pastoral ministry, first serving four years as executive pastor at Magnolia Wesleyan Church in Santee, California and then joining his home church, Skyline, early in 2001 as Mentoring, Discipleship and Support Group Pastor.

Skip and his late wife Sally first joined Skyline Church in 1979 where he served as a lay member on the Local Board of Administration for several years. He continues to serve on the Pacific Southwest District Board for the Wesleyan Denomination.
