Oh Yeah… Jesus ! Yeah, Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. He took God's judgment in our place. As We said before, He truly loves you. Jesus paid what He did not owe so that you would no longer owe what you could not pay – the debt of sin. WOW! Wow! That's right. Now. because Jesus paid for all of our sins, we can freely be forgiven by God for all of our sins – past, present, and future and thus have the sin problem eliminated and thereby be connected with God. John 3:16 – 17 states, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." God's Son is Jesus Christ. So… if you recognize that you are a sinner and that Jesus is the solution to the sin problem, then you have a decision to make. You can either reject God's solution and pay for your own sins on the Day of Judgment, or you can turn from your sins and turn to God (repent) and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Jesus said, "You are either for me or against me.” There is no middle ground or third option. What Must Be Done? All you have to do to get the free gift of eternal life is receive it! The invitation is clear and the decision is yours. John 1:12 states, "For as many as received Him (that is Jesus), to them He gave the right to become the children of God." If you would like to receive Jesus into your heart and life as your loving Lord and Savior then you can pray a simple prayer like this: Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life to you. I receive you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen. If you prayed that prayer and meant it then God heard you and honored your prayer. You are now forgiven and have the promise of eternal life. You have been born again and are a brand new creation! Congratulations! The Bible teaches that right now the angels are rejoicing in heaven because you are going to be there forever and because you have just begun a new and wonderful relationship with God.
